eMarketer just published a report about using email marketing to drive cross-channel sales, this is a report that shows that email marketing is not dead and needs to be an integral part of any business strategy.
The report found that 65% of respondents in Asia-Pacific and 57% Worldwide are more likely to buy a product in-store (that is a retail location) after receiving a marketing email message.
To break it down even further, the report found that the following percentages of people would make a purchase either in-store or by phone:
- 75% of respondents in China
- 70% of respondents in South Korea
- 64% of respondents in Singapore
- 51% of respondents in Australia
