It’s OK to Quit…

As a creator business, creating content consistently (say that 3 times fast!) is a big part of what you do.

But it’s not easy to do.

Matt Giovanisci of Money Lab, started a 30 day content creation challenge for himself, create 30 short videos for his social media properties.

In his email newsletter (he shares useful stuff, so go sign up!), he recently shared he already burned out after creating 3 videos.

I share this because we often see creators create content at a prolific pace, but in reality it’s not easy.

The reason he stopped was he found it tedious to edit his videos – that’s after three videos, imagine thirty!

I’m a big believer in only focusing your energy on where it’s easy and is your strength.

That’s the only way to longevity.

Matt shows us it’s ok to just quit (at doing what’s not working) and move on to tasks that you can continue doing in the long run.

Remember, it’s more a marathon than a sprint.
