Bing has announced it will begin removing the right-hand sidebar ads starting 26th March 2018.
This follows Google’s exact same move back in 2016.
What does this mean for SEO?
Look at all the above-the-fold search results these days and they’re ALL paid ads.
It’s simple, it’s a money-grab.
By removing the sidebar ads, they pretty much saying “you’ve got to pay to play” now in search results.
Any business relying on SEO or organic reach is playing with fire. Same goes for Facebook.
